The Reiki Principles: Just for today I will give thanks for my many blessings. Just for today I will not worry. Just for today I will not be angry. Just for today I will do my work honestly. Just for today I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing. The word REIKI comes from the Japanese and means universal life force. REI describes the universal and limitless aspect of this energy while KI represents the life force, which is in all living things. The KI is the same energy that is known as CHI by the Chinese, Prana by the Hindu and Mana by the Kahunas. Reiki is very gentle and natural as it assists the body in healing itself. It works well with other types of therapy helping them be more effective, often causing the process to succeed more rapidly. In my healing practice I tend to use Reiki with my massage therapy as it helps the massage be more effective. A Reiki session is done while you are lying comfortably fully clothed on a massage table though it can also be done while you are sitting in a chair if that is more comfortable for you. The Reiki energy flows from the practitioners hands to you as a series of hand positions are done just over or lightly touching your body. A typical Reiki session can last up to 60 minutes. After a session you will feel very relaxed and refreshed as the bodies energies are balanced. Some clients say they feel as relaxed after a Reiki session as they do after a massage. Just let me know if you would like only Reiki or a combination of Theta and Reiki when you order your healing. The cost for a 60 minute Reiki session is $60.00. If you would like to buy a Healing Package of 3 Reiki sessions $5.00 would be taken off of the fee for each session for a $15.00 savings to you. All 3 sessions would need to be completed 2 months from the purchase date. I have flexible office hours 7 days a week by appointment only and payment can be made with credit card, personal check or cash. Twenty-four hour notice is required to cancel your appointment. If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment you will have to pay for the missed appointment before I will see you again unless it was an emergency. |
